~CAPSTONE~-
The finishing stone of a structure -The crowning achievement, point, element or event The Eighth-Grade Capstone provides students with a year-long, intensive opportunity to research a topic of local and/or of global significance and present their work to the class at the end of the year.
The Capstone is designed to encourage students’ greater understanding of the wide-ranging impact of their subject, both in their local communities and possibly on a global scale. |
GUIDANCEPeriodic conferences with MR. A. will take place throughout the school year. During these meetings, we will discuss content choices, presentation methods and anything you need to help you succeed with this science project.
Tentatively, at the end of each trimester and after Friday quizzes, there will be class time to work on capstone. There will POSSIBLY be optional after-school times to work on your capstone with your teacher. Timeline
